La civilisation de la vallée de l'Indus

La civilisation de la vallée de l'Indus, également connue sous le nom de civilisation harappéenne, est l'une des plus anciennes civilisations urbaines du monde. Elle s'est développée dans la région du fleuve Indus entre environ 2600 et 1900 av. J.-C. Les sites archéologiques de Harappa et de Mohenjo-daro offrent des aperçus précieux sur cette ancienne civilisation, qui était remarquablement bien organisée et avancée pour son époque. À partir du VIIIe siècle, l'Inde a connu plusieurs invasions étrangères qui ont laissé une profonde empreinte sur la culture et la société indiennes.
